Nothing would make us happier than having you there to celebrate with us. But we also know that travelling to another country, taking time off, booking flights, and spending days away from your routine is no small thing.
So please know this: there is absolutely no pressure. If the timing doesn't work out, if the trip feels like too much, or if life simply gets in the way, we completely understand, and we will not be upset in the slightest.

Aragosta Hotel
Right by the sea and close to the venue. We are in contact with the hotel manager, so if you're interested in booking a room here, just let us know and we'll help arrange it for you.

Lovely breakfast included. A comfortable stay in the heart of Vollga.

Right in the center, perfect for walking to restaurants, the promenade, and historical sights.

There are plenty of great Airbnb options in the Vollga district. A good choice if you want more space, a kitchen, or are travelling as a group.

Look for accommodation in the Vollga district — it's close to the venue and the promenade. Avoid Golem — traffic is horrible in September and it can easily take an hour to reach the city centre by car.

Travel tips for your journey
Recommended Flight
We suggest flying with Wizz Air from Memmingen (FMM) to Tirana (TIA). It's a direct, budget-friendly option that gets you to Albania quickly and easily. Alternatively, you can also find flights to Tirana from Nuremberg (NUE). Flying from Munich (MUC) is also possible but usually a lot more expensive.

Currency
The local currency is the Albanian Lek, but almost everywhere accepts Euros. The exchange rate is roughly 1:100, though recently it's been a little less favourable.
Taxis
Getting around Durrës by taxi is easy and cheap, usually just a couple of euros per ride. Electric taxis tend to be even cheaper, and the younger drivers usually speak English.
Airport Transfer
A taxi from Tirana Airport to Durrës was recently around 35€. You can arrange one at the airport or book in advance.
Rental Cars
We had good experiences booking through Check24. Just be aware that parking spots can be hard to find and traffic in and around the city can be a bit of an adventure.

What to Wear
Think summer chic — light, elegant, and easy to move in. It will be a warm Mediterranean evening, so dress accordingly. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
